Who's responsible for my whereabouts?

You are responsible for all your travel and movements. Before the departure, we'll send you the boarding passes for your flight(s). Print them (preferred) or download them on an app like Apple Wallet. Remember to keep track of time, because it's your responsibility to meet your group at the scheduled hour and place. This is very important, especially when we'll be moving from/to airports! In the unlikely event that you lose a flight, don't panic: reach out to a member of the Travel Team, who will find the best solution for you.

Are meals paid for by Nebulab?

Our hotel is all-inclusive from 10am to 11pm, so all meals, sancks and beverages in these hours are all paid for by Nebulab. Moreover, all scheduled activities are paid for by Nebulab. Anything else you do in your free time or outside of the scheduled activities are on you. All hotel extras like the minibar, pay TV etc. are not included. Our daily reimbursement for international travel DOES NOT apply to this trip.

Do credit cards work in the Canaries? How much money should I bring?

Ask your bank to ensure your card works in the Canaries. Credit cards are accepted everywhere in Fuerteventura, so you don't need to bring a lot of cash, although it's a good idea to always bring a small sum with you for any emergencies. If you prefer, you can also withdraw cash at an ATM.

Will my phone work?

We'll be in Spain, so inside the EU. If you have an Italian SIM card, you can use international roaming at no additional cost for phone calls and Internet traffic. If you have an extra-EU international SIM card, reach out to your phone carrier for information about the costs and conditions for international travel.

Will I have time to explore the island on my own?

We scheduled an afternoon for any additional activities you want to do. As said, though, this is not a personal holiday: any activites, including your free time, should be scheduled with the entire team or a micro-team. If you're interested in an activity outside of the scheduled ones, try to include other team members!

Am I responsible for client work and deadlines during the retreat?

Clients will be informed of our retreat, so work needs to be scheduled accordingly. Nevertheless, there will be some time during the retreat for client work (10-12 hours). If you think we forgot to communicate the retreat to a particular client or that work has not been scheduled properly, reach out to your project lead in advance.

What do I do if I need to add more luggage?

Your luggage preference was collected to properly arrange our travel solutions. If you realized you need more space or weight than you thought, don't worry: reach out to the Travel Team AT LEAST 4 days before the departure date.
